The grey 180g polyester canopy stretches to a full two metres wide and sits atop a sturdy powder-coated steel pole, giving you reliable coverage on sunny days without dominating your outdoor space.

Opening and closing the parasol is straightforward thanks to the crank handle, which lets you raise or lower the canopy with a simple turn — far easier than fiddling with a traditional pulley cord. The canopy also features a top air vent that helps reduce wind resistance and keeps the air circulating underneath, so you stay cooler for longer on warm afternoons. The two-part steel pole locks together securely and, along with the ribs and handle, has a powder-coated finish to help guard against rust over time.

It's worth noting that a parasol base is not included and is essential for safe, stable use — particularly in breezy conditions. If you plan to use the parasol with a garden table, an 11kg base is recommended, while a 25kg base is the better choice if it will be freestanding.
