Honeycomb Permeable Paving Grid 1m x 9m

This honeycomb gravel stabilisation grid is a practical way to create a firm, permeable surface across driveways, garden paths, patios and parking areas. Supplied as a single foldable sheet covering 1m x 9m, it expands quickly on site and can be trimmed to fit awkward shapes or joined with additional sections for larger projects. Each cell measures 40cm x 40cm and 5cm deep, giving plenty of depth to hold gravel, soil, sand or grass seed securely in place.

Made from recycled HDPE plastic, the grid is lightweight to handle yet genuinely tough underfoot. It resists acids, alkalis and UV degradation, so it holds up well in the variable British climate whether laid on a flat lawn, a sloping driveway or a muddy utility area beside a shed. Once anchored with ground pegs and filled with your chosen material, it distributes weight evenly and prevents the surface from shifting or rutting under foot traffic or vehicle loads.

Installation is straightforward enough for a confident DIYer over a weekend. Lay the grid on compacted ground or a layer of membrane, peg it down around the edges, and fill the cells. It works particularly well with gravel driveways where loose stones tend to scatter, keeping everything tidy while still allowing rainwater to drain naturally through the surface and into the ground below.
