The LawnMaster OcuMow AMB16-400 takes the hassle out of lawn care with a genuinely straightforward setup — plug in the charging station, place the mower on the lawn, and press start. There are no boundary wires to bury, no app to configure, and no antenna to install. It's designed for gardens with clearly defined edges such as paving, raised sleepers, or solid borders, making it a practical choice for many typical UK gardens up to 400m².
Rather than relying on GPS or wire-based mapping, the OcuMow uses a High Dynamic Range camera combined with ultrasonic sensors and Optical Grass Recognition to identify the lawn, detect edges, and navigate around obstacles. It handles its own mowing and recharging cycles automatically, so once it's running you can largely leave it to get on with the job. Do bear in mind that manual edge trimming will still be needed along borders the mower can't reach.
A particularly useful feature for those with more than one area to maintain is Drop & Mow mode. Simply carry the mower to a secondary lawn, activate the mode, and it will mow independently until the battery runs low — no extra setup or accessories required. It's a thoughtful touch that adds real versatility for gardens with separate sections or a front and back lawn to manage.
