Spear & Jackson 3040KEW Kew Gardens Stainless Rockery Trowel

The Spear & Jackson Kew Gardens Rockery Trowel is a compact, precision tool designed for working in tight spaces where a standard trowel simply won't do. Whether you're planting alpines between stones, tucking bulbs into a rockery, or teasing out weeds from awkward corners, the narrower blade gives you far more control than a full-sized trowel, letting you work with care around established plants and delicate root systems.

Made from stainless steel, the blade is built to resist rust and stand up to regular use in all kinds of soil conditions, from heavy clay to gritty alpine compost. The ergonomic handle is shaped to reduce hand fatigue during longer sessions, making it a comfortable choice whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started with a new rockery project.

As part of the respected Kew Gardens Collection from Spear & Jackson — a brand with well over a century of tool-making behind it — this trowel carries a real pedigree. It was recognised as a winner at the Grow Your Own 2022 Great British Growing Awards, which speaks to its quality and performance in everyday gardening situations. A reliable, well-crafted tool that earns its place in any garden shed.
