When it eventually needs a clean, simply take it down and wash it with water and a mild detergent. Before purchasing, it's worth noting that the shade area will be slightly smaller than the stated sail dimensions, and your fixing points should be positioned roughly 35–100cm further apart than the sail's length to allow for proper tensioning.
